TWO OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

Amish Sights, Shopping & Shady Maple

Enjoy the sights in quiet & relaxing Lancaster County. You’ll still see horse and buggies carrying Amish families from place to place. Shop at many of the local Amish shops and then finish the afternoon with dinner at the Shady Maple, the area’s largest all-you-can-eat-buffet that can accommodate over 1,000 people. Shady Maple also contains a 20,000 sq. foot gift shop of unique gifts specific to Lancaster County. Availability is limited.

Cost: $36 (includes transportation, dinner and guided tour)

Historic Philadelphia Sites

The old cracked bell still proclaims Liberty and Independence Hall echoes the words, "We the People." Explore Franklin's Philadelphia and learn about our country’s past. You’ll visit the Liberty Bell Center and Independence Hall. Availability is limited.

Cost: $46 (includes transportation, lunch and guided tour)

In addition to the regular conference schedule the FBFI has had the opportunity of endorsing many fundamental, Baptist chaplains for our U.S. military. There will be additional sessions, specifically for those chaplains. If you, as a pastor, desire to be a part of those conference sessions, please know that their sessions will begin Monday afternoon and end Friday morning.
