Dr. Ward Smith
Ward Smith holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies and a Doctorate of Sacred Ministries degree. He and his family traveled with Evangelist Steve Pettit for three years before joining the staff of South Sheridan Baptist Church. After seven years of ministry on staff at South Sheridan the Lord called Ward and his family to plant Grace Baptist Church in Parker, Colorado, along with ten families from South Sheridan. Ward has served as the senior pastor of Grace since 2001.
Ward met his wife, Cheryl, in college while they were both on visitation. They were married September 7, 1985. Ward and Cheryl have six children, one of whom has preceded them to heaven.
